RISE is an organization by and for students which hosts educational and awareness events and advocates for students on campus.
RISE arose out of a student-expressed need for a resource that could offer a more relatable, student-to-student connection, education, advocacy and support. RISE responds to issues and concerns that are happening on campus or are relevant to our student population and provides opportunities for both educational events and supportive community conversations centered in a variety of topics and themes such as mental health advocacy, healthy relationships, campus climate, self-care and consent.
