Biography

BS, Georgia Institute of Technology
MA, PhD, Johns Hopkins University

Dr. Snyder taught at Georgia Institute of Technology, Johns Hopkins University, and West Chester State College. His areas of interest include geometry and applied mathematics, and he has delivered a paper, “Vector Invariants of Algebraic Groups,” before the Mathematical Association of America. Dr. Snyder has also worked in the actuarial department of a major insurance company and is an associate of the Society of Actuaries. In 1995–96, during his sabbatical, he was a visiting scholar at the Cornell University Mathematics Department. (1974–2010)
